THE EXTENSION
What does the number in the widget mean?
How Many reads how many units Amazon will accept for the specific seller’s offer you’re viewing, right now, in the region you’re checking. It’s the practical measure of how much of that seller’s stock is reachable.
What is Limit Buster?
Sellers can cap the quantity a shopper is allowed to order, which hides how much they really have. Click Bust limit and How Many shows the quantity behind the cap.
Does it work on every seller, or just the Buy Box?
Both. The widget appears in the buy box and on each seller’s offer inside Amazon’s “Other Sellers on Amazon” panel.
What is the Geo View?
Click the pin icon (“Bust Limit per Region”) and a new tab opens with availability across 8 US regions and Amazon’s delivery promise for each. Seller A is the Buy Box winner, seller B cycles the other sellers on the listing, and Compare shows both side by side.
Which Amazon sites does it support?
Amazon.com today. Other marketplaces are on the roadmap.
THE DASHBOARD
How do I add products?
Click Track a product. Paste ASINs (or upload a CSV), choose the brand they belong to, and enroll each product in the modules you want — AI Visibility, Shelf Intelligence, Brand Protection, any combination. Nothing is monitored until its setup step is finished.
What is a module?
A lens on the same daily capture. Shelf Intelligence tracks your Buy Box, price and stock across regions. Brand Protection tracks MAP floors, violations and losses. AI Visibility tracks how Amazon Alexa recommends your products. A product can be enrolled in one, two or all three.
How often is data captured?
Every day, across all 8 US regions. Overview and product pages show the state right now; range controls (7, 30, 90 days) apply to flow numbers like sales, revenue and violations.
What do the alerts cover?
Coupons detected on your listing, sponsored placements on your product page, MAP undercuts with screenshots, stock-outs with the Buy Box lost in the same capture, Alexa rank slips, and opportunities such as a competitor going out of stock. Filter by module, severity, region and product; subscribe to scheduled digests or instant email/Slack notifications in Settings › Reports.
What is Ask Analyst?
A button on every dashboard page. It reads the page you’re on — a product’s Buy Box tab, a MAP profile, an Alexa question — and explains what changed and why in plain language.
Can I manage more than one brand?
Yes. Agencies and aggregators can hold several brands in one account, assign products to them, and filter the whole dashboard by brand.
Can Brand Protection suspend a seller?
No. It detects violations, sends notices on your behalf with the evidence you select, and observes outcomes. The strike ladder is your own MAP policy; enforcement power over third-party sellers stays with you and Amazon.
ACCOUNT & BILLING
Is there a free trial?

Yes. There are no contracts; cancel from your dashboard whenever you like.
Do I need an account to use the extension?
Yes. Your checks and tracked products sync to your dashboard at app.howmanyextension.com.
